在論壇裡有看到在兩年前所討論的和MS Live Writer 無法PO圖片和看到文章列表的問題嘛（可是那是在lifetype1.1.1版本)!
我在論壇和網路上也沒有找到相關的問題在新的LIFETYPE的版本中出現
所以有可能是我哪裡設定錯誤嗎? 只想先確認是否有其他人悍我碰到的一樣的問題!

我的LIVE WRITER是12.0.1370.325 ZH-TW 版本

請問有翻譯功能的Plug-In嘛？　
我希望是可以讓閱讀著點選翻譯到的語原 然後blog的內容就可以即時被翻譯

我在網路上有找到AtlaVista的翻譯外連的服務（http://www.altavista.com/help/free/free_searchbox_transl）
但當我把Javascript放到Panel旁的template裡 卻無法正常運做 (我想我不應該把ljava script 放在 panel template 因為AtlaVista可能在翻譯template檔卻不是blog的內容

我想知到如果我的lifetype是用簡潔網址
目前我有一個blog的網址是http://www.mcgill-taiwan.org/app/blog/2
我想在ipowerweb virtual host上設定　sub-domain 為 http://blog.mcgill-taiwan.org


那我想請問以下的問題
1. 我的virtual host的sub-domain的對印的目錄設定是要只到　"/app/blog/2"嘛？
　note: 我是過了把　"/2"　是為成一個時記的folder　但卻不work 因為server找不到index.php

2. 我須要改.htaccess 嘛？
    note: need to set "directoryIndex index.php" ??

Thank you! So let me make sure if I understand:
(1) set the sub-domain http://blog.mcgill-taiwan.org, and link it to "http://www.mcgill-taiwan.org/app/blog/2"
(2) create a index.html to re-direct to "http://www.mcgill-taiwan.org/app/blog/2"

but the problem is that after redirecting, I would still like to see the http://blog.mcgill-taiwan.org/ domain instead of the actual "http://www.mcgill-taiwan.org/app/blog/2".

here is example of my re-direction (it will switch after 5 sec) http://blog.mcgill-taiwan.org

Can anyone help me?

HI! I will try to use ENGLISH to explain correctly (I am sorry to use English here)

Basically I am trying to setup my sub-domain configuration in IPowerWeb. In the sub-domain setting, it only allows me to input the absolute path of the sub-domain name which it will map to.

in my case, I want to create a sub-main called "http://blog.mcgill-taiwan.org" and it supposed to map to one of the blog which I have created. The absolute path of the blog is "http://www.mcgill-taiwan.org/app/blog/2".

The problem the sub-domain setting in IPowerWeb is only to the folder level not the actual file name. Therefore, the sub-domain will try to find the index.html or index.htm in the folder of "/app/blog/2".

Since I don't know what is the actual file name that the blog path name points to, "http://www.mcgill-taiwan.org/app/blog/2" is it supposed to something likt /app/blog/2/xxx.file-extension? If yes, then what do I need to do so that it will find to that file instead of pointing to the index.html/index.htm

Hope that the explaination is clear.

我目前在ipowerweb的share hosting上架設blog
我目前的plog網址設定為清潔網址  (http://www.mcgill-taiwan.org/app/blog/2)
但當我把sub-domain 的domain設成 http://blog.mcgill-taiwan.org 也指到清潔網址 http://www.mcgill-taiwan.org/app/blog/2

老是browser 會連到ndex.html 是否有其它的辦法連到清潔網址所指到的Plog

I am so stupied.....

I have found the answer to my own problem.
The root cause is that I did not change the "RewriteBase" path from /plog/ to /app/blog.

謝謝大家的幫忙 目前"自定的url"的設定是成功的
但"清潔url"的設定是不成功的

當我從/app/blog/summary.php 時　點選blog時　會出現以下的錯誤訊息

Not Found
The requested URL /plog/index.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

**我以經有改過.htaccess 檔案了 因該沒有問題 因為"自定的url"的設定是成功的
**以上的錯失敻訊息出現了 "The requested URL /plog/index.php was not found on this server." 是不是我拿裡在lifetype沒有射定好　導致lifetype 去找/plog/index.php  但在.htaccess 的設定為 /app/blog/

天ㄚ　請好心人士幫忙一下！！

謝謝你的回信! 基本上 因為我是新手 所以當問問題時 把安裝問題和dreamhost的設定和dreamhost的超作上一起來發問!

目前我還沒有辦法用"清潔"url 可以用 "自訂" url.
當我用"清潔"url 時 在summary.php顯示的連結到每一個blog都無法顯示
但我用"自訂" url. 每一個blog的連結是okay的

目前我是用 "/blog/{blogname}/..... 成功的 搭配"自訂" url
但當我用 "/blog/{blogid}/  ..... 不成功  搭配"自訂" url

因為mark建議有一篇文章(英文版) 提出"/blog"不要移除 所以我的目前的網址會 "http://www.teacher-chao.com/app/blog/blog/shih_ho"

我是dreamhost 和plog的新手! 我已經把lifetype 1.03 裝好了! (http://www.teacher-chao.com/app/blog/summary.php)
但是還是沒有辦法把”簡潔網址與自訂網址”設定好

雖然在討論板以經有很詳細的討論和成功案例　但有些關念和資訊希望大家可以幫忙成清　（先說聲謝謝）
1.是否在dreamhost 的http.conf 檔案已經事先設定為 "overide all"
  假如要自己設定 是在control panel的哪裡 或要和customer support聯繫

2. 在dreamhost上 如何改檔案的權限?
   我有嘗試不同的方式保含(1)用dos的但chmod的指令好像不支援 (2) 用CuteFTP但檔案的權限改布過來
   (3) 最後用了ultraEdit才成功

   請問大家在dreamhost是如何 或用什麼工具去執行linux的command?

3. 在"小青豆"的回覆 是否要把 "775" 改成 "777" 在以下的新增的程式


    define( 'DEFAULT_TEMPLATE_TEMP_FOLDER_PERMISSIONS', 0775 );

    改成

    define( 'DEFAULT_TEMPLATE_TEMP_FOLDER_PERMISSIONS', 0777 );

4. 在pLog"簡潔網址"設定的畫面  是否可以提共大家的範例

   我碰到的一問是
   1. 當permalink_format 為"/{blogname}/post/{catid}/{postid}$"
     
      - {blogname} 是否可以含中文 (我目前的 BLOG NAME是 "DAVID老師"
   
   2. 在另一張文章有談到不要把"BLOG"在"/BLOG/{blogname}/post/{catid}/{postid}$"S拿掉
     
      NOTE我有在我的"簡潔網址"設定的畫看到"BLOG"再每一行自動出現
      (EXAPLE --> category_link_format ==> "BLOG/{blogname}/catid={catid}$"

      我的問題是:
      (1)為什們不是 "app/blog/{blogname}...." 因為我的lifetype是裝在
      http://www.teacher-chao.com/app/blog/

      (2) 不了解在CATEYES的決論是把"blog"拿掉 但Mark有體醒大家要看
     

   我建議你看完文件後再來設定： http://wiki.lifetype.net/index.php/PLog_1.0/Custom_URLs

   為什麼在 blog_link_format  中不能使用 {username}，是因為我們根本沒把 {username} 的變數放到 blog_link_format 中。在 blog_link_format 只允許 {blogowner}, {blogid}, {blogname}

這幾天和我的virtual host (www.aplus.net)詢問"allow override"在httpd.conf的設定
收到的回答是因為我購買的服務”不是專用獨想的方案（dedicated server pakacge)”所以不能改便設定
在此我也無耐也學到了下次換virtual host要注意的事項

我是一位新手!! 以官方網站的說明 看起來是要自己download你喜愛的版型
我自己摸索 以用已下的步驟

1.　download template
      site #1: http://openfoundry.org/Foundry/Project/Download/?Queue=165 (look for "all_templates.zip" --> 裡面有好多的整理好的版型)
      site #2: http://www.lifetype.net/blog.php/plog_development_journal/page/templates

2.   Unzip template

3.   upload template folder into "\pLog\template" folder

4.  Log-in to Admin & go to template management

　　Menu 的路徑為＞全部站台管控\模版管理\新增模版

5. use "SCANE for installed template"

　按　”掃瞄語系檔”　按鈕

接下來應該就會看到你所upload的版型
